Clearing Mound 101, Kuulo Kataa, 1995
Public DepositedFour Banda Research Project team members use cutlasses to clear grass from the surface of Mound 101 at Kuulo Kataa. Mound 101 is a prominent midden mound covering roughly 1200 m2 and rising roughly 3 m above the surrounding ground surface at its apex. Its surface is littered with abundant pottery and metallurgical slag. Kuulo Kataa, June, 1995.
